With planning complete, Focal Studios LLC officially entered Phase 3: Construction and Brand Launch. This stage marks a major milestone as physical transformation began inside our Aliso Viejo studio. From ceiling demolition to new soundproofing layers, every detail is being crafted to give creators the professional environment they need. At the same time, our visual brand identity—including logos, fonts, and color system—was revealed.
Construction Progress
The construction team focused on building the physical foundation for our podcast and content rooms. Completed work includes:
- New ceiling construction with added soundproofing.
- Additional drywall applied to room surfaces for better acoustic control.
- Electrical wiring installed in walls and ceilings, including a 220V outlet on the back wall to support high-power equipment such as LED panels and advanced cameras.
- XLR cable runs built directly into the walls for microphones.
- ¼” audio cable infrastructure added to support multiple headphone stations.
- Ethernet throughout the studio, allowing for long-length HDMI runs and stable connections.
- Dedicated projector wiring installed for our short-throw projector system.
- Ceiling painted black to minimize light reflection, with walls painted white to maintain clean and versatile backdrops.
- 8′ x 15′ ceiling truss system mounted for cable management, camera placement, and three-point lighting rigs.
Launching the Focal Studios Brand
In parallel with construction, Focal Studios is building its visual identity. Our new branding includes:
- A clean, modern logo system designed for digital and print use.
- A carefully selected font family for consistency across web, signage, and marketing.
- A refined color palette to give Focal Studios a recognizable and professional look.
This identity will guide everything from our website and booking platform to our in-studio signage and promotional materials.
Setting the Stage for Creators
Phase 3 ensures our space is fully equipped for professional podcasting and content creation. By integrating soundproofing, power access, audio cabling, and lighting infrastructure during this stage, we are building a studio that can grow alongside the needs of creators in South Orange County.
Looking Ahead
With construction nearly complete, we now move into Phase 4: Finishing Touches and Technology Install. This stage will add final paint, acoustic panels, lighting systems, cameras, microphones, and streaming hardware—bringing us one step closer to our grand opening in Fall 2025.
