Focal Studios LLC is excited to announce our creator-focused studio project in Aliso Viejo, CA. We are building a professional podcast room for group interviews plus three smaller content rooms for individual interviews and compact shoots. These spaces will give local creators a simple way to record high-quality audio and video without long-term commitments.
During Phase 2: Planning and Development, our team is finalizing room layouts, choosing equipment, and preparing the build. We are also polishing brand assets, site structure, and booking workflows. To preview the direction, we will embed a Google SketchUp rendering of the main podcast room on this page. Designs for the three content rooms will follow soon.
Project Timeline
Phase 1 – Initial Meeting and Concept Introduction (June 18, 2025)
We kicked off the idea: a modern, flexible studio for podcasters, entrepreneurs, and creators in South Orange County.
Phase 2 – Planning and Development Begins (July 9, 2025)
We mapped the spaces, confirmed acoustic goals, and selected the first round of gear. We also drafted brand elements and page templates.
Phase 3 – Construction + Brand Launch (July 16, 2025)
Work starts on walls, doors, and targeted ceiling demolition. Soundproofing is applied room by room. Electrical runs begin. CAD wiring plans are finalized. At the same time, we launch the Focal Studios visual identity: logos, fonts, and the color system.
Phase 4 – Finishing Touches and Technology Install (August 27, 2025)
Next, we add paint, sound panels, lighting, cameras, microphones, and a short-throw projector. A dedicated streaming PC is installed. We bring in furnishings and interior décor. Website development and the booking flow move into active build.
Phase 5 – Open Space, Test Runs, and Training (September 22, 2025)
We open the rooms for controlled tests. The team trains on lighting presets, audio chains, and scene switching. We make set adjustments and finalize the look. The website booking system launches in beta for early users.
Phase 6 – Grand Opening (October 15, 2025)
Finally, we celebrate the grand opening of the podcast room and the three content spaces. Public bookings begin.
