Welcome to Focal Studios!
These Membership Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern all memberships, subscriptions, and related services provided by Focal Studios (“we,” “us,” or “our”) to you (“Member,” “you,” or “your”).

By purchasing or renewing a membership with Focal Studios, you agree to these Terms in full. Please read them carefully before joining or using any of our facilities, services, or membership privileges.

1. Membership Overview

Focal Studios Memberships are designed to provide creators, brands, and production teams with exclusive access to professional podcast and content creation spaces. Memberships include studio reservations, access to specialized equipment, creative add-ons, and member-only privileges as defined by the tier purchased (Gold, Silver, or Bronze).

Each membership is individual or company-specific and cannot be shared, sold, or transferred without written approval from Focal Studios.

2. Membership Tiers and Terms

Focal Studios currently offers the following membership tiers:

• Gold Membership — available in 6-month or 12-month terms

• Silver Membership — available in 6-month or 12-month terms

• Bronze Membership — available month-to-month

Each membership includes a defined number of monthly studio reservations, production features, and access privileges as outlined on the respective membership product page.

3. Term Length and Renewal

• Gold and Silver Memberships (6 or 12 Months): Automatically bill monthly for the duration of the term. Memberships end automatically at the conclusion of the stated term unless renewed.

• Bronze Memberships (Month-to-Month): Continue on an ongoing basis until paused or cancelled by the Member.

Renewals, where available, will continue under the same terms and pricing unless otherwise updated or modified by Focal Studios with prior notice.

4. Billing and Automatic Payments

• All memberships are billed automatically on a monthly basis to the payment method provided at checkout.

• The billing date corresponds to the original purchase date.

• Automatic payment enrollment is required to maintain active membership status.

• Failure to maintain valid payment information or to process payment successfully may result in suspension or termination of membership access.

• A monthly service charge applies to all memberships to cover booking software, account management, and administrative costs:

  • Gold: 3%

  • Silver and Bronze: 4%

5. Pausing, Cancellations, and Termination

Gold and Silver Memberships:

• Memberships cannot be paused.

• Cancellations are permitted only within 60 days prior to renewal after the minimum term period has passed:

  • 6-month memberships: after 120 days

  • 12-month memberships: after 305 days

• All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to Focal Studios.

• Once cancelled, membership access continues through the end of the paid billing period.

Bronze Memberships:

• Members may pause their membership up to two times per year, with each pause lasting no more than 30 days.

• If a pause exceeds 30 days or occurs more than twice in one year, the membership will automatically cancel.

• Members may cancel after 30 days from the start date with at least seven (7) days’ notice prior to renewal.

Focal Studios reserves the right to suspend or terminate any membership for violation of these Terms, nonpayment, or misuse of studio property or privileges.

6. Refunds and Credits

All payments are non-refundable.
Memberships, sessions, or Add-Ons cannot be refunded or exchanged for credit under any circumstance, including partial months, unused time, or early cancellation.

Unused studio hours, content reservations, or deliverables do not roll over to the next billing period.

7. Add-Ons and Additional Services

Members may purchase Add-Ons at any time. Add-Ons may include, but are not limited to:

• Additional social reels, behind-the-scenes photography, or editing hours
• Green Room or Office use
• Weekend bookings or extra content space reservations
• Virtual Projector Screen
• Furniture Customizations
• Additional Cameras
• Additional Microphones
• Editing and Graphics
• Content Spaces

Add-On prices vary by membership tier and are listed on each membership page. Any Add-On purchased is billed immediately upon use or confirmation.

If a Member exceeds the number of included deliverables or hours, additional time or services will be billed at the applicable published rates.

8. Access and Scheduling

• Studio access is available during posted hours:

  • Weekdays: 8 AM – 8 PM

  • Saturday: 8 AM – 8 PM (Gold included; Silver/Bronze per-hour rate)

  • Sunday: Gold – $500/hour; Silver – $500/hour; Bronze – not available

• Green Room and Content Space access are reserved for the duration of your podcast session or up to two hours per reservation unless otherwise stated.

• Office use is billed separately based on Focal Studios’ current office rental rates.

Studio time is reserved on a first-come, first-served basis.
Members are encouraged to schedule reservations well in advance to ensure availability.

9. Missed Sessions and Rescheduling

If a Member needs to cancel or reschedule a booked session:

• Cancellations made more than 24 hours in advance may be rescheduled without penalty.

• Cancellations within 24 hours of the scheduled session may be forfeited without refund.

• No-shows or repeated short-notice cancellations may result in account review or membership suspension.

10. Exclusive Access and Member Benefits

Focal Studios Members receive access to:

• Private sections of the Focal Studios website

• Member-only content, updates, and resources

• Invitations to special or members-only events

• Early access to select booking times and promotions

Focal Studios reserves the right to modify or replace member benefits at any time with equivalent or enhanced offerings.

11. Studio Conduct and Property Use

All Members agree to treat the studio spaces, staff, and equipment with care and professionalism.
Any damage, loss, or misuse caused by a Member or their guest will be the responsibility of the Member, and associated repair or replacement costs will be billed directly.

Smoking, illegal substances, and disruptive conduct are strictly prohibited within the premises.

12. Ownership of Content

Members retain ownership of their own recorded content and creative works.
However, by using the studio, Members grant Focal Studios limited permission to use behind-the-scenes or facility footage for promotional purposes, unless otherwise requested in writing.

13. Limitation of Liability

Focal Studios shall not be liable for any loss, injury, or damages arising out of or related to the use of its facilities, services, or equipment.
Members assume full responsibility for their own safety, property, and data.

14. Modifications to Membership Terms

Focal Studios may update or modify these Terms at any time.
Changes will be posted on the official website and become effective immediately upon posting.
Continued membership after any updates constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed under the laws of the State of California.
Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Membership Program shall be resolved in Orange County, California.
