Thank you for choosing Focal Studios LLC (“Focal Studios,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
This Refunds & Returns Policy explains how refunds, cancellations, and service adjustments are handled for Memberships and General Admission (GA) bookings made through www.focal-studios.com.

By purchasing, booking, or subscribing through our website, you agree to this policy as part of our overall Terms and Conditions.

1. Overview

Focal Studios provides access to professional podcast and content production spaces through two booking types:

• Memberships (Gold, Silver, Bronze) — subscription-based plans with defined terms, benefits, and monthly billing.

• General Admission (GA) — one-time, hourly bookings for studio use on a non-member basis.

Each option follows separate policies regarding payments, cancellations, and eligibility for refunds.

2. Membership Refunds and Cancellations

Membership purchases are non-refundable and non-transferable.

a. Billing

• Membership fees are billed automatically each month to the payment method provided at checkout.

• Automatic payment is required to maintain an active membership.

• Service charges apply at 3% for Gold and 4% for Silver and Bronze.

b. Cancellation

• Memberships cannot be paused or refunded once active, except as permitted by the Membership Terms.

• Gold and Silver members may cancel only within 60 days of their renewal window after the minimum term period has passed (120 days for 6-month terms, 305 days for 12-month terms).

• Bronze members may cancel after 30 days from purchase, with at least seven (7) days’ notice before renewal.

c. Refunds

• No refunds are provided for partial months, unused reservations, missed sessions, or early termination.

• Unused time or deliverables (such as social reels or content room hours) do not roll over to future months.

3. General Admission (GA) Bookings

General Admission (GA) offers a flexible, single-use booking option for non-members. GA customers agree to these terms upon purchase and scheduling.

a. Booking Details

• GA bookings are available Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM.

• Weekend bookings are not available.

• All bookings require a 2-hour minimum.

• The rate is $1,000 per hour, plus a 4% service charge.

• Each booking includes:

  • 3 Cameras

  • 2 Microphones

  • Standard set design

• GA sessions include 1 hour of recording time with 30 minutes setup and 30 minutes breakdown, totaling a 2-hour block.

• GA bookings are limited to one session per customer per day.

b. Included Deliverables

• RAW, unedited footage delivered within 24+ hours of recording.

• No editing, post-production, or additional media is included unless purchased as an Add-On.

c. Optional Add-Ons

GA customers may purchase the following Add-Ons at checkout:

• Social Reels (short video clips)

• Social Assets (images, BTS content, etc.)

• Post Recording Editing

All Add-Ons are billed at the rates listed on the booking page and are non-refundable once recording begins.

4. General Admission (GA) Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

To maintain fairness and studio availability for all clients:

• Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the booking time may be rescheduled once within 30 days, subject to availability.

• Cancellations within 48 hours of the scheduled session are non-refundable.

• No-shows will result in full forfeiture of payment.

Once a session begins, no refunds or partial credits are issued, even if the customer chooses to end early.

5. Rescheduling, Cancellation and No-Show Guidelines

Rescheduling requests must be submitted in writing to info@focal-studios.com and confirmed by a Focal Studios representative.

• Reschedules are subject to studio availability and must occur within the same 30-day period as the original booking.
• If rescheduling is not completed within 30 days or 24 hours before booking, the session is forfeited without refund.

All Cancellations must occur as follows:

1. General Admission (GA):

• Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the booking time may be rescheduled once within 30 days, subject to availability.
• Cancellations within 48 hours of the scheduled session are non-refundable.
• No-shows will result in full forfeiture of payment.

2. Gold, Silver and Bronze Memberships:

• Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the booking time may be rescheduled once within the 30 day subscription/membership plan, subject to availability.
• Cancellations within 24 hours of the scheduled session are non-refundable and not eligible for reschedule.
• No-shows will result in full forfeiture of payment.

Approved refunds (if applicable under this policy) will be processed to the original payment method within 7–10 business days.
Focal Studios is not responsible for delays caused by banks or payment processors.

8. Force Majeure

If an unforeseen event (such as power outage, natural disaster, or technical failure) prevents the completion of a scheduled session:

• Focal Studios may, at its discretion, reschedule the session or issue a partial credit toward a future booking.

• Refunds are not guaranteed in these situations but will be handled fairly on a case-by-case basis.

9. Non-Refundable Items and Conditions

Refunds or returns are not available for:

• Membership subscriptions (Gold, Silver, Bronze)

• Missed or late arrivals to GA sessions

• Completed recording sessions or delivered media

• Add-Ons after recording begins

• Custom editing or special requests once production starts
